HOW IT ALL STARTED
Run by our family, Steph, Phil and little helpers Darcey and latest arrival Wilfred, No.25 Café in Benson was dreamt up shortly after becoming new parents – as if we didn’t already have enough on our plate!
The method behind the madness? After coming back from parental leave, neither of us could bring ourselves to return to what now seem very sensible jobs! Our family loves baking and cooking delicious homemade food, and we’d always dreamt of working towards something we truly enjoyed: sharing our tasty creations with the local Benson community. 25 is our lucky number, so when we saw that 25 High Street in Benson was for sale, we knew it was the right time. You could almost call it fate!
Living in Benson ourselves, we noticed the village was lacking somewhere for the locals to come together, and wanted our Café to fill that gap. We imagined No.25 as a fun, cosy place for families, couples and friends to meet, eat delicious cake and unwind; a café that would truly sit in the heart of the community.
So, after a year of paperwork, building, sourcing the best local suppliers and many setbacks, No.25 was born. We now specialise in bringing you speciality coffees, teas and cold drinks to enjoy with our breakfast and lunch dishes and delicious homemade cakes, all lovingly created here at No.25 cafe in Benson.
